OMHA PLAYOFFS

The OMHA Playoffs schedules are now posted,  come out and support our teams.
Good Luck to all the teams.
LET'S GO CYCLONES

*52 Week Draw Tickets*

This is a reminder to all those who have outstanding 52 Week Draw tickets for the 2010 year.  Draws have begun, and if your tickets are not in the draw bin, you are missing out!!!!  Please contact Lisa Doner-Day at 428-6662 or mayday27@rogers.com to make arrangements to drop off your tickets.

Playoffs

All teams are now finished regular season, and will be receiving their playoff schedules shortly, if not already.  Congratulations to all teams for representing Stayner so well!  Great job!  Please pay close attention to the schedules posted on the website – www.staynerminorhockey.com - as last minute changes are common.

Bond Hours

There are still some bond hours available for those still looking.  The KICX dance on May 29th still has some openings, and the year end banquet as well (date to be decided).

Annual General Meeting

The AGM is dated for April 14/10 @ 7:30pm at the Stayner Community Centre (arena hall).  This is a mandatory attendance event where amongst other things, we will be voting for the new executive for the 2010-2011 season.  Please consider this an opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering your time and assisting SMHA and your son or daughter in a sport that requires a lot of teamwork, both off and on the ice to make things happen.  All positions will be open and available for nominations.  If you, or someone you know, is interested in putting their name forward for a position, please contact an existing executive member with your nomination.  All job descriptions are posted on the web under Policies > Operation Manual.

Emails

If you know of someone on your team who is not getting these email updates, please forward me their email addresses, or have them email me requesting to be added to the email list so that they can stay informed with up to date information for the season.  Thanks!

About Stayner MHA
This is Stayner MHA's 35th year in operation.  SMHA was first established on December 31, 1974 with the vision of providing all players a safe and fun atmosphere in which to compete in our great game of hockey.  Not much has changed over the years as we continue to provide all players from Mites to Juvenile the fun experience of Hometown Hockey.
